Making its Sydney debut, Control by emerging playwright, Keziah Warner, is a sci-fi show ready to entertain and enthral. Flowing through three different but interconnected stories set sometime in our (not-too distant?) future, Control asks what happens if we don’t pull on the brake of technological development.
The story of Picnic at Hanging Rock has haunted the Australian conscious for decades. The original novel spurred on multiple film and stage adaptations as well as a musical, radio play, and miniseries. This most recent stage adaptation by Tom Wright condenses the atmosphere of the iconic tale and heightens its drama exponentially.
Little Triangle is a brand new Sydney theatre company dedicated to reprising under-performed musicals at a ticket price point that doesn’t cost their audience a week’s rent. As an effort to expand and diversify the musical theatre scene in Sydney, this is a valiant way to open a company. Their second production, Merrily We Roll Along, just closed their season at the Depot Theatre to wide praise and keen look-outs for their next show!
